Investigate the underlying causes of hearing loss and vestibular disorders to enhance the understanding of the involved pathophysiological mechanisms
Implement new technologies and methodologies for the early and accurate diagnosis of hearing loss and vestibular disorders
Effectiveness an performance of auditory implants in different types of hearing loss, including conductive, mixed, and sensorineural hearing loss
Conduct clinical studies and trials to evaluate the long-term efficacy of hearing implants and other assistive auditory devices, aiming to improve patients’ quality of life
Investigate innovative therapies, such as gene therapy and cell therapy, to treat genetic and acquired hearing loss and vestibular disorders
Explore the interaction between hearing loss, auditory implants, and vestibular disorders to enhance the understanding of complications and side effects associated with therapeutic intervention
Collaborate with other specialized clinics to broaden the scope of research and promote the application of scientific findings in clinical practice
Actively participate in conferences and scientific publications to disseminate advances and discoveries in the field of hearing loss, auditory implants, and vestibular disorders, with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange and international collaboration
Educate and train medical students, residents, and specialists in otolaryngology and audiology about the latest advances in research and treatment of hearing loss and vestibular disorders
